As each new year begins, a new lineup of Toyota model years is set to hit the road. So what’s new for 2018? We’ve compiled a brief overview of all of Toyota’s model year changes below.
Toyota Model Year Changes for 2018
2018 Toyota Camry: 25 more horsepower and 14 additional lb.-ft. of torque become standard. Fuel economy improves by 5 MPG in the city and by 8 MPG on the highway. Transmission goes from 6 speeds for 2017 to 8 speeds for 2018.
2018 Toyota Corolla: Toyota Safety Sense-P becomes standard and includes Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and Automatic High Beams.
2018 Toyota Highlander: The new Highlander receives the same safety upgrade as the Corolla and keeps it strong design.
2018 Toyota Rav4: A new Ruby Red exterior paint color is now an option and a cold weather package is also available, which includes heated seats and steering wheel along with a windshield wiper de-icer.
2018 Toyota Sequoia: The new Sequoia adds a TRD Sport trim level and LED headlights and fog lights become standard. A new front grille also joins the mix.
2018 Toyota Sienna: The Entune infotainment system gets upgraded to Entune 3.0, which features a 4G Wi-Fi network among other high-tech features.
2018 Toyota Tacoma: The new Tacoma gets the same safety upgrade as the Highlander and Corolla while also getting a new front grille and a black leather-trimmed interior.
2018 Toyota Tundra: The Tundra also gets the Safety Sense-P treatment plus the addition of the TRD Sport trim level and a new mesh grille for certain trims.
2018 Toyota 4Runner: New off-roading performance equipment enhances the new 4Runner.
2018 Toyota Avalon: The Safety Sense-P package and sound-absorbing foam for a quieter cabin are new for 2018.
2018 Toyota Prius: A massive 11.6-inch infotainment system becomes available for 2018.
2018 Toyota Land Cruiser: An optional rear-seat entertainment system and swing-away side mirrors highlight the new Land Cruiser.
2018 Toyota Yaris: A reshaped body design frames now-standard safety features like Lane Departure Alert, Pre-Collision System, and Automatic High Beams.
2018 Toyota C-HR: The C-HR is a subcompact crossover that is new to the Toyota family this year.
